"Aryan was a great teacher to have, especially if you're a bit nervous about dedicating yourself to Yoga for a month in a foreign country.  India is an intense but beautiful country, and we had some interesting experiences along our journey with Yoga teachers we dropped in on.  Many lacked social skills or taught in a very traditional and non flexible way.  Many treat you as inferior and view westerners as in need of rescuing.  Spending a month, 10 hours a day with one of those teachers, would have been a struggle, and you hear lots of those stories in India.

Aryan is strict in his ways, and is dedicated as a teacher to see as much improvement in his students as he can get from them, but is very personable.  He is easy to talk to and has an open mind, so it was easy to discuss aspects of the training, meditation, and philosophy with him.  We laughed and joked with him often, but maintained discipline when it was required.  He was flexible in his approach to make sure that his students were comfortable, but let us know about tradition and that it should be maintained as much as possible. Aryan was almost always found with a big smile on his face, and always had a way to motivate us through the month of intense training.  The experience was that sometimes I was looking for inspiration from a strict, disciplined, bearded 90 year old yogi but instead found a young, smiling Aryan telling me to get on with it, telling me that the only thing holding me back was myself, digging right to the core of the problem.  Aryan not only taught me, but inspired me along a path I cannot turn back on, helping me reach states of mind and states of being that have given me a new perspective on life.  Aryan is a great blend of traditional Yoga and Indian philosophy with a western touch.  I would recommend Aryan to anyone who has an interest in a drop in class or a full teacher training."

"I had a very good experience in Aryan Yoga & Reiki Center. I followed the TTC in September 2011 and came here to embetter my practice and deepen my understanding of yoga. The programme was intensive with a good balance between yoga practice and philosophy. I particularly enjoyed the asana and pranayama classes, which allowed me to build strong basis for the future.

Aryan has his own teaching style and continuously motivates his students to go further in the practice without pushing them over their limit, which makes him a great teacher. His sense of humor makes every situation enjoyable. I definitely recommend this school for the quality of the teachings and its great location in the mountain area."

In September 2011, I took the 200 hr Teacher Training program at Aryan Yoga and Reiki Center in McLeod Ganji. I’ve been thinking about doing a program for several years and I am very glad that I finally did it. It is hard work but worth every minute. I found Aryan after taking several classes around McLeod and knew he was right for what I was looking for. I tend to like more vigorous yoga and he was excellent at pushing us so we could find our own edge which might be further than you know.

He provided specific, easy to follow instructions for all elements of yoga. We taped each posture and adjustment so we can continue to learn and grow from the experience in the future. He teaches to wherever the student is in their yoga path – beginning or advanced. It is an amazing location, and the program is well designed (meditation, yoga, philosophy, ayurvedic overview, anatomy, pranayama, etc). I highly recommend this program.

I took Aryan's class this year. It was excellent. He is an amazing teacher and really focused us to learn the most vital points in yoga and in teaching it. Before enrolling I surveyed other teachers and immediately found the most comfort and trust in Aryans style. His english is very clear in it's accent for westerners so that was important as well.

The course was very vigorous with a full full full schedule. It stressed me out a bit with the other things I needed to do back home but Aryan was kind enough to accommodate my needs where it was ok. The class was not easy at all like many of the others I saw bit im so glad I was so lucky to have found such a perfect teacher for my foundational learning.
